Happy Friday Year 5 and welcome to the last task on this website page (for now at least)
We hope you have enjoyed your home learning tasks over the past two weeks - we have really enjoyed seeing all the evidence landing in our inbox.
Today we have our final RE task from your sheet of activities - a leaflet about the importance of Easter. Although this year you won't be able to go to church on Easter Sunday, it is still a very important day to celebrate - and not just because you get to eat your Easter Eggs!
You can email any of your home learning to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Enjoy your holiday!
Home Learning Resources
For the next 2 weeks, use this timetable as a guide to ensure that your children are keeping on top of their learning.
Any resources that are in red will be provided by the school and can be found below.
We hope that you are all safe and well.
You will see above the home learning that we would like you to complete over the next two weeks before the Easter holidays.
We have also added some resources for other tasks and activities that you might like to complete:
- most year groups completed a RE Discovery this half term recreating a story from the Bible, you could read some stories, choose your favourite and do this;
- in school we wrote to a care home (Windsor Lodge) on Thursday, you could continue your correspondence - perhaps decorating the paper and envelope too;
- maybe you were inspired by our Science Museum last week and want to recreate another investigation that you saw.
To make sure you stay active you could join the nation with Jo Wicks at 9am on his YouTube channel.
Those of you who are involved in GirlGuiding or Scouting - maybe this is a great opportunity to work on your badges? And lots of GirlGuiding and Scouting groups are also posting challenges and ideas for things for you to get involved in for example @maltagirlguides on Instagram and the GirlGuiding page on facebook.
Also remember that we are only an email away - if you would like to show us what you have been up to, ask for help when completing an assignment, or just say "hi" drop us an email at email@example.com .
Whatever you do, please ensure that you and your families stay safe, follow the government advice, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
